Larry Dale Fry, 70, of Hawthorne, FL passed away at his home on April 28, 2014. Larry was born on May 3, 1943 in Lafayette, Indiana. The greatest joy of Larry's life was to be the child of the late L. Dale Fry and Laura W. Reents Fry. He was an electrician and served in the Army National Guard.He is survived by his sister, Linda K. Taylor (husband, George M.) of Lafayette, Indiana; nieces, Kim Pollard of Lafayette, Indiana, Terri Brown of Lafayette, Indiana and Jorja Spencer of Dayton, Indiana; and nephew, George C. Taylor of Buck Creek, Indiana.Larry is also survived by and will greatly be missed by his great nieces and nephews, Dewitt, Justin, Brandon, Ryan, Brittney, Ben, Jessica, Kim, and Kylie and also five great great nieces and nephews; and his long time close friend, Jeff Hunter.There will be a celebration of Larry's life at 4:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville. Casual clothes only, lots of laughter, and sharing of Larry's life with lots of stories expected. Larry was blessed with the gift of gab and spent many hours with friends.His sister and family will be taking him home to Indiana for interment with his parents in Monticello, IN.
