Rev. Larry Ray Devrick 77 of Palm Coast passed Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born August 11, 1943, in Logan, West Virginia to Denver Ray and Chessie Mae (Carper) Devrick. He grew up in Starke and lived with his parents, brother Michael and sister Vicki at Islamorada in the Keys where his parents owned the Golden Key Hotel. Larry returned to Starke and graduated from BCHS; following his high school graduation he then complete two years at St. Johns Community College. He proudly joined the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War and on the pistol team. Following his military service he began working with his parents at Devricks Auto Parts. In 1979, he married Della Eagle and they moved to Atlanta, Georgia where Larry sold furniture. He loved the Lord and as a teenager he studied with ministers at the Park of The Palms in Keystone Heights. Larry founded Lighthouse Ministries where he was Senior Pastor and ministered to ministers in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, South Korea, Argentina as well as Kazakhstan. Larry leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years Della Devrick; sons Forest, Kinneth and Joshua; grandchildren Corbin, Lacy, Tori, Rain and Reagan. Also left behind are two nephews Rev. Jeff Jennings and Jason Jennings and a niece Chessie Jennings Flanders. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. with his nephew Rev. Jeff Jennings officiating.
