Larry Fowler

Mr. Larry W. Fowler age 70, of Lawtey passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his residence. Larry was born on August 31, 1947 in Starke to the late Dewey Wilson Fowler, Sr. and Jessie Mae (Byrd) Fowler and was a lifelong resident of Bradford County. Prior to retirement he worked as a vocational instructor for PRIDE Industries and served in the United States Army. Larry was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church and enjoyed fast cars and had a love for firearms, which was instrumental in him becoming a gunsmith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jimmy Fowler and Lila Jane Rhoden. Survivors are: his wife of 32 years, Ruth (Arney) Fowler of Lawtey, children: Larry B. Fowler of Starke, Heather A. Thompson (Troy), Bryan W. Plummer (Selena) all of Lawtey, Danny O. Plummer (Patricia) of Kansas City, MO., brother: Dewey Wilson Fowler, Jr. (Linda) of Starke and sister-in-law: Linda Fowler of Starke. Also left are his grandchildren: Timothy Fowler, Darren Plummer, Courtney Lemire, Bryce Plummer and Macey Kearse great grandchildren: Luca Plummer, Karley Lemire, and Kaise Lemire, nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Chassady, Shawna, Robert, Ernest, Jesse and James The family will receive friends at Madison Street Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 oclock.
