Mr. Larry Forrest Jones age, 81 of Keystone Heights passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Roberts Care Center in Palatka. Mr. Jones was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on December 6, 1931 to the late Lyle and Lois (Brady) Jones. He and his wife Joan had move to Keystone Heights in 1990 from California where he had retired as a Machinist from Lockheed Aircraft. Mr. Jones was of the Presbyterian faith, and he enjoyed camping and traveling. He was a 30 year member of the Elk and Moose Lodge, and a member of the Sons of the Am Vets Post 86 in Keystone Heights. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joan (Askwith); stepchildren, Donna Kay White of Jacksonville, Myron White of Middleburg, Dennis Green and Rodney Green both of Missouri. Also left behind are his two sisters, one brother, 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a special cousin Virginia Kaufman of California, one daughter and one son along with additional family members in Michigan. At Mr. Jones request there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the WWII War Brides Association, 513 Dunmore Place Court, St. Charles, MO 63304.
