Larry Olin White

Mr. Larry Olin White, age 57, of Starke passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Gainesville following a lengthy illness. He was born in Starke on November 12, 1958 and had retired from Florida Farm Bureau as a Field Underwriting Manager. Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Starke and an avid Gator fan; he also enjoyed camping at the beach but mostly spending time with his family and friends. His father, Olin W. White, Jr. had preceded him in death. Larry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindy (Smith) White; his mother, Lucy (Barton) White both of Starke; two brothers, Robert "Bob" White (Melinda) of Oviedo and Michael White (Patricia) of Peachtree City, GA; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Amanda Smith of Starke; three sisters-in-law, Margaret Johns (Brian) and Traci Wilson all of Starke and Sue Ellen Smith (Bruce Ritchie) of Tallahassee, along with his nieces and nephews and their families. Larry also leaves behind his much loved Australian Shepherd, Ferris. A memorial service for Larry will be held, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with family and friends officiating.
