LaTona Lester, age 60 , died unexpectedly Thursday, May 6, 2010 at her home.Born on January 24, 1950 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Tib and Rosia (Stambaough) Lester.Ms. Lester was a graduate of SJRCC in Palatka and The University of South Florida were she earned a degree in Education.She recently retired after a period of thirty five years as a teacher in the Art Dept. at St. Augustine High School.She is survived by two brothers: Roger Lester of Keystone Heights and Michael Lester of College Station, TX. Nieces & Nephews: Sherry Behrends, Cameron Lester, Ann Claire Lester and James Lester and several grand and great grand nieces & nephews. She is also survived by cousin Bonnie Stewart of Jacksonville. Aunts; Charlene Jones of Green Cove Springs, and Linda Davis; her uncles Paul Stambaough and Bill Stambaough all of Ironton, OH and Johnny Stambaough of Lake City. hide
