Laura Grubl Gillette Laura Grubl Gillette, 27, beloved wife of Matthew Gillette, lost her year long battle with MDS on October 20, 2011. Laura graduated from U of F with BS in Anthropology and a MS in Management. Laura loved to participate in running events. She had finished the Army 10 Miler last October when she was stricken with her Bone Marrow Disorder. Her grueling year long treatment proved what a tough, courageous and determined person she was. Laura will be missed by all who knew her. She is also survived by her parents, Gary and Leslie Grubl and her brother Alex. Our bright and shining star is not here with us on Earth any longer, she now lights up the heavens with her smile.
