Laura Jean Hollingsworth, known to all as Jean, was born on July 11, 1944 in High Springs, FL. She was a wife, mother, sister, Nana, cousin, aunt, and friend. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Terrell Hollingsworth Sr., her son Eddie Hollingsworth (Sandy), her daughter Tracy H. Stephens; grandchildren Whitney Stephens, Lindsey McKnight (Jacob), Dani McKenzie (Aaron), and Tabitha Harris. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, a host of loving cousins, and other dear family members and friends. Each of them will carry her memory in their hearts, cherishing the lessons and love she imparted throughout her life. Jean is preceded in death by her parents Maxie and Evelyn Feagle, and sister Judy Layfield.
Jean served the community as a bus driver in Columbia County, and a devoted dispatcher for the High Springs Police Department. After she retired, she spent many years spoiling all of those grandbabies.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2025 at a 11 AM, a service will follow at Fort White Baptist Church 18302 SR-47, Fort White, FL 32038. Interment will be held at Fort White Cemetery, 117 SW Horton Rd, Fort White, FL 32038.
