Laura Faye Spaulding, lovingly known as Faye, took the first step into heaven on May 8, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 24, 1940, to Alvin and Wallie Nash, she was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida.Faye leaves behind her two devoted sons, Doug Kellum (Carmella) and Dale Kellum (Diane), along with a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many generations to come.To those who knew her, she was far more than just "Faye." She was Ma, Grandma, GG, Sister, and Aunt Fayenames that reflected the love, care, and strength she gave so freely. She dedicated her life to caring for others, making it her second calling after retiring from the United States Postal Service.She is now reunited in heaven with many loved ones, including her cherished son, Jimmy "Jet" Kellum.Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at Restoration Baptist Church, 9714 Ridge Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32208. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at New Berlin Cemetery immediately afterward.Arrangements are under the care and direction of Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home.
