Laurie Brady passed away June 3, 2014 under the care of Haven Hospice and surrounded by his wife and stepson.Laurie, a preacher's son, was born October 21, 1932. He began to play the piano at the early age of five years. After ten years of classical piano lessons, he continued using his talents. At sixteen, he had his own live radio program weekly and formed his own dance bands soon after, playing in concerts, nightclubs, dance, etc. for many years.Prior to the age of forty, Laurie came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord and immediately turned his life and talents to the Lord's work. He and his talented family have toured Canada and the United States in a full-time evangelistic and music ministry.Upon retirement, Laurie moved to Gainesville, FL, where he continued to play music for family and local events. He was preceded in death by his first wife and stepdaughter. He is survived by present wife of 17 years, Mary Brady; five children, Michelle, Jill, Camille, Marc and Brent; step-son, Mitch; five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.Arrangements are in the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
