Laverne Williams

Mrs. Laverne Williams age 73, of Hampton passed away at her home, Friday, September 2, 2016. She was born in Paris, Arkansas to the late Glenn and Ocie (Whitbey) Waller. Mrs. Williams had been a resident of Hampton for 40 years and she was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed sewing, word search and cross word puzzles but most of all spending time with her family and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Henry "Hank" Williams and their two daughters, Sandra M. Williams of Ocala and Ella Amy Carbonara of Lakeland. Also left behind are two brothers; Wallace Waller of Port Orchard, Washington and William Waller of Napa, California along with one grandson, Robert Cooper Carbonara. There are no scheduled services at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606 or a to a cancer research center of your choice.
