Lawrence Don Baxley, Jr.

Funeral services for Lawrence Don Baxley, Jr., 65, will be held at 9:00a.m. Monday in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, with Dr. Terry R. Gore of Franklin Street Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Baxley was a retired Master Sergeant, United States Air Force. He served in Operation Desert Storm, in Iraq, during the Persian Gulf War. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dell Lee Aguilar Baxley of Jacksonville; three daughters, Tricia Baxley of New Mexico, Jennifer Baxley of Jacksonville and Vanessa Baxley (David) Brooks of Maxville, Florida; two sons, Brett Alan (Lindsey) Hale, Sr. and Robert Wade (Sarah)Lee, both of Jacksonville; a sister, Dina M. Kohler of Oregon; a brother, Alan Dale (Paula) Baxley of Jacksonville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
