Funeral services for Lawrence Elwin Clifton Jacobs, 63, will be held at 9:30a.m. Friday from the graveside in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Deacon Frank Robinson officiating. Born October 8, 1954 in Revere, Massachusetts to Jean and Ralph Jacobs, Mr. Jacobs died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his home in Jacksonville. Mr. Jacobs retired from the United States Navy as Boiler Technician Chief with over 20 years of service. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Joy Jacobs; a daughter, Heather Nicole Silman and son-in-law Ryan Wilson; a son, Lawrence E. C. Jacobs, Jr. all of Jacksonville; a sister, Roberta Jacobs of Hackettstown, New Jersey; a brother, Roger Jacobs of Jacksonville; and three grandsons, Bryce Silman, Gavin Silman and Rylan Wilson.
