Lawrence Peter Meng

Mr. Lawrence Peter Meng age 71, of Hampton Lake died peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. He was born in Gainesville on December 4, 1948. Following graduation from Bradford High School he served in the United States Air Force and later served as a prison chaplain for many years. Preceding him in death was his father, Francis Meng and his wife, Teresa Meng. Survivors are: his mother, Dolores Meng, siblings, Rita Meng, Donna Meng Gilbert, David Meng, Eugene Meng, Gerald Meng (Melody), Kevin Meng, Thomas Meng, and Christopher Meng (Landa). In accordance with Lawrences wishes, his body was donated to medical science. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Pine Level Baptist Church, 7844 State Road 100 West, Starke, FL 32091. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to, Pine Level Baptist Church and mailed to above address.
