Lawrence "Larry" Norman Parnell, 75, of High Springs, Florida, passed away on December 11, 2024. Larry was born in Miami, Florida on June 7, 1949 to Abraham and Ida (Horton) Parnell. Larry was married to Betty Jean Parnell for 41 years.He graduated from Savannah High School where he received a high school diploma. He then joined the U. S. Army where he worked as a truck driver in the Army. After leaving the Army, he was employed at the General Electric Battery Plant in Alachua, Florida. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching his grandchildren play sports.Larry is survived by his sons, Tony Parnell of Fort White, Jerry Parnell (Angie) of Newberry, and Shaun Parnell (Tammy) of Fort White; sisters, Denise Knight (Ronald) of Live Oak and Zonia Starling (Billy) of Live Oak; brothers, Cliff Parnell (Josie) of Live Oak, Charlie Parnell (Trisha) of Live Oak, and Nelson Parnell of Live Oak; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Parnell; parents, Abraham and Ida Parnell; and brother J.
