Mr. Lee Alba Cook, age 85 of Interlachen and formerly of Starke passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at his home. Mr. Cook was born on October 28, 1940, in Starke to the late Theodore and Lena (Lavendar) Cook and served in the United States Marine Corp.

Mr. Cook was a dedicated carpenter in the construction industry, known for his hard work and craftsmanship. Beyond his profession, he cherished the simpler things in life. Lee had a true love for fishing, where he found peace on the water, casting lines and sharing stories. He also enjoyed watching television and spent many afternoons diving into his favorite shows.

He was a man of faith who dedicated time to studying his Bible, often sharing his wisdom with family and friends.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Tanya Aguilar, Patrick Cook, Lisa Johnson, and Jonathan Brenton. He is also survived by his siblings Ethel Thomas, Linda Fortenberry, and Leonard Cook. As a beloved "Pawpaw," Lee will be missed by his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy.

While there are no formal services scheduled at this time, the family invites you to remember Lee in your own way, whether it be by casting a line in his honor, sharing a meal, or enjoying some quiet time with your loved ones.
