Leo Lorain Locklear

Funeral services for Leo Lorain Locklear, 90, who passed away on September 21, 2016, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206 with Rev. James Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Locklear was born in Cross City, Florida and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in the South Pacific during WWII. He was truly one among "Americas Greatest Generation. He was a ship builder by trade and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He taught Adult Sunday school for many years.
