Leon "Buddy" Norman, Jr. age 83 of Starke passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Shands Gainesville. Mr. Norman was born in Starke on October 11, 1936 to the late Leon Norman, Sr. and Thelma "Browning" Norman and was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended Bradford County Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church of Starke. He was a generation farmer, specializing in strawberries.Survivors include his wife Sandra "Strickland" Norman of 62 years; son Jeffrey (Sharon) Norman of Macon, GA; daughter, Teena (Jimmy) Thomas of Palm Coast; son, Clayton (Laurel) Norman of Starke; daughter, Selena (Bryan) Plummer of Gainesville; grandchildren, Amber Faulk, Brooke Frazee, Haley Norman, Jeff Norman, Storm Hamilton, Kendall Norman, Hannah Griffis, Bryce Plummer; great-grandchild, Legend Hutchinson.Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME STARKE: 904-964-6200.
