Leonard Albert Schneider

Reverend Leonard Albert Schneider, age 87, of Ft. Myers passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Shell Point Nursing Pavilion in Ft. Myers. He was born in Englewood, New Jersey, July 22, 1928 to the late Leonard F. and Emma (Schlenker) Schneider, and was an Executive Director of Emergency Shelter for the Homeless in New York, New York before his retirement. Reverend Schneider is survived by his wife, Helen Marie (Kehn) and their three children, Susanna Lee Schneider of Brooklyn, New York, Miriam Ruth (Schneider) Jannetty and her husband Joseph J. of Duxbury, MA, and Carl Martin Schneider of New City, MA. Also left behind are his two grandchildren, Joseph Pietro Jannetty of Denver, CO and Sophia Kehn Jannetty of Duxbury, MA. A memorial service for Reverend Schneider will be held in Ft. Myers at a later date. Interment was in the Keystone Heights Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E. WALKER DR.
