Leonor Wilson

Mrs. Dioni Leonor Wilson age 75 of Keystone Heights passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born August 21, 1943, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to Dolores and Carmen (Castro) Rosario and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson resided in Gainesville before making Keystone Heights her home many years ago. She was a charter and faithful member of First Assembly of God Church and a longtime member of the American Legion Post #202 in Keystone Heights. She was also active with the Keystone Senior Center assisting in various areas and donating her time to helping local charities, but most of all she loved being with her family. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Baerges and her husband James Earl Wilson. Mrs. Wilson leaves behind three children Ruthie Wilson Ross of St. Augustine, Benjy Wilson of Keystone Heights and Billy R. Wilson of Green Cove Springs. Also left behind are four brothers, two sisters, eleven grandchildren and a host of extended family members. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend David Mayer officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery.
