Les Gordon

Mr. Leslie "Les" J. Gordon, age 83, of Keystone Heights passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. He was born April 15, 1936, in Savannah, Georgia to Raymond and Gertrude (Jackson) Gordon. Les was a retired Construction Supervisor; he assisted in the construction of 30 Sonnys Restaurants plus much more. In 1997 he moved from Miami to Keystone Heights and joined the First Baptist Church where he was active in building the Walk through Bethlehem. He enjoyed taking cruises, bowling and softball. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Carol (Moscoso) Gordon last year. Left behind are Mr. Gordons eight children Teresa Konruff (Billy) of Orange Park, Artie Gordon (Stephanie) and Karen Levine (Bob) all of Keystone Heights, Tammie Cordoba (Terry) of Callahan, Kevin Gordon (Laurie) of Cooper City, Chris Strouse (Richard) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robin Hancock of Jacksonville and Jason Neiss (Neaka) of Keystone Heights. Also left behind are six grandchildren Dillon Moyd (Emily), Zach Moyd (Sara), Jake Hancock, Matthew Gordon (Hilary), Christopher Gordon, Nicholas "Nick" Gordon, Tonya Williamson and Melissa Adams along with eight great grandchildren Jason, Marcus, Penelope, Kevin, Dawson, Meadow, Jared and Malachi. .Viewing for Mr. Gordon will be Friday, January 3, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2020, in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Findley officiating. Interment will follow in the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
