Mr. Leslie Travis "T.J." Prevatt, Jr. age, 37 of Lawtey passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Shands Hospital following a brief illness. He was born April 19, 1985, in Gainesville and worked as a Permit Technician for Paragon Pools. T.J. grew up Catholic and enjoyed being outside fishing, grilling, and working in the yard. He also enjoyed playing video games and taking trips with his children, was an avid Florida Gator fan, loved talking to friends on the phone, bust most of all he loved spending time with his family. T.J. leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Shirley (Fisher) Prevatt; three children Hayden Prevatt (16), Gunner Prevatt (9), and Seren Prevatt (7) along with his parents Leslie and Anne (Page) Prevatt, Sr. all of Lawtey. Also left behind is his mother in-law Alicia Fisher, father in-law Ronnie Tyler both of Starke in addition to multiple family members and friends that will miss him dearly. Visitation for T.J. will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Tyler officiating.
