Leslie H. Wells, Sr. Leslie H. Wells Sr. 82 of Jacksonville passed away August 6, 2013. A native of Jacksonville he was a member of Highlands Baptist Church, retired from the U. S. Army after serving 20 years of service to his country, in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Army he retired as an Insurance Agent with Mutual of Omaha, and Wells Fargo Security Division, and was a concealed weapons Instructor with Bulls Eye He loved his family first and was very patriotic, and several family members have followed in his footsteps by serving their country in the military. Leslie was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Delores Eloise Wells, and a daughter Julie Wells Sharpe. He is survived by 2 daughters Belinda Jeffords (Todd), Diana G. Jackson (Mike), 1 son Leslie Wells Jr. (Loraine) 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St. Jacksdonville, FL with Rev. David Morris officiating, the family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday morning. Burial will follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors by the U. S.
