Mr. Lester Arnold Tew, 82 of Penney Farms, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. Mr. Tew was born November 16, 1939 in Ward, Alabama to parents Horace Ray and Ivy Irene (Moody) Tew. He was a member of First Black Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty S. (Saunders) Tew. Survivors are his daughter, Teresa Capo of Fleming Island, son, Philip Tew of Chester, VA, sister, Joyce Eldridge of Jacksonville, and grandchildren, Philip Tew, Jr., Beverly Tew, Dana Tew, and Emily Capo. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the First Black Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Melvin officiating. The family will hold a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow at the First Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
