Mr. Levi Boree age 89, of Middleburg passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Orange Park Medical Center. Mr. Boree was born on April 30, 1923 in Clay County to the late Nathan and Lillie Mae (Starling) Boree and was a lifelong resident. He retired from Jacksonville Naval Air Station after serving 37 years and 8 months as a Plumber, was a self-employed plumber, and worked as a farmer until the present. Levi was a longtime member of Kingsley Lake Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his son David Boree and twin sister Effie Mae Vance. Survivors are his wife of 53 years Kathy Johns Boree of Middleburg; daughter: Betty Boree (Ricky) Brackett of Lake Butler; sons: Paul (Wendy) Boree of Middleburg; Douglas (Kelley) Boree of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren David Boree, Jr.; Chelsea Boree; Lauren Young; Charity Darby; Lilly Dalton; Lucus Brackett and Derrell Brackett; three great grandchildren: Morgan Young; Dylan Cayce and Kenzie Brackett. The family will receive friends at the KINGSLEY LAKE BAPTIST CHURCH on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Kingsley Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Zeb Cook and Reverend Jim Doster officiating.
