Levis William Lindsey "Papa", 85, of LaCrosse, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Levis was born in Fort White, Florida on September 7, 1938 to Calvin and Mattie Lindsey.Levis was married to Rosa for 64 years. He graduated from Fort White High School where he received a high school diploma. Levis worked as a vending machine mechanic for Anchor Amusement, All Brands, and Eli-Witt. He enjoyed karoaking and watching westerns. He loved his grandchildren. He was also actively involved in the High Springs Lions Club.Levis is survived by his wife, Rosa L. Lindsey; sons, Richard (Tammy) Lindsey of LaCrosse, Florida and Doyle Lindsey (Kyle) of Gainesville, Florida; daughter, Jo Drumheller (Rob) of LaCrosse, Florida; grandchildren, Hunter, Jack, and Justice Lindsey, Lindsey Drumheller; great-grandson, D. J. Hunter.He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Mattie Lindsey, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
