Libby A. Schlachter passed away May 5th, 2014. She was born July 20, 1946 to Curtis E. and Myrtle B. Buie. She was a graduate from Englewood High School. Libby was married to Leo M. Schlachter for 48 years as they just celebrated on April 30. She was a loved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and a loving grandmother. All who knew her loved her for her wittiness, laughter, friendships and most of all, her kindness. She never met a stranger. She loved reading and traveling with her family especially her sisters. She will be missed by many. Libby also worked for the family insurance agency since 1982. She managed the St. Augustine office for over 10 years before retiring. Libby is survived by her husband Leo M. Schlachter; her children, Lee M. Schlachter and Lori S. Segui (Will); 3 grandsons Matthew Schlachter, Jerrett Schlachter, and Liam Segui. As well as, 2 step-grandchildren, Jessica Segui Jones (Wesley) and Steffan Segui; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Kieran, Maeleia and Easton; her mother, Myrtle Buie; sisters, Betty Reynolds and Debbie Bensen (Russell); brothers, Curtis Buie (Sylvia), DeWayne Buie (Lynda) and Stephen Buie (Ann) and 5 nieces. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. A memorial service will be held at the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son at 3:00pm on Friday May 9thon University Blvd. Arrangements are under the direction of George H.
