Funeral services for Lillie Irene Cox, 88, who passed away on January 24, 2016, will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Dr. E. Winson Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thrusday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Cox was born in Tifton, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was the Owner of Cox Florist for many years and had attended Baymeadows Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, the late Alton Cleve Cox; Son, B. Steve Cox and grandchildren, Tina Pope and Stevie Cox. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra J.
