Linda Mae Bigbie

Linda Mae Bigbie, 71, beloved Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on October 7, 2026. She entered this world on January 26, 1955 in Dalton, Alabama, born to Tommy and Eunice (Turner) Bigbie. She is survived by his daughter Melissa Bigbie; grandson Samuel Bagbie-Hills Jr.; grandson Joecya Hill; sister Ann Weeks; sister Betty Capakin; sister Robbie Nickels; brother Tommy Chancey and a host of extended family members and friends. Linda enjoyed the simpler things in life, at a young age she worked at Sonny’s Barbecue and spent the rest of her life as a homemaker, caring for her belated husband, her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed the home life spending time with the entire family and watching the world around her. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15th at 11:00 am at Forest Meadows Funeral Home; 725 NW 23rd Avenue Gainesville, FL with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Forest Meadows Cemetery-East 3700 SE Hawthorne Road Gainesville.
