Mrs. Linda R. Gatlin age 66, of Hampton passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Shands UF. Mrs. Gatlin was born on April 26, 1949 in Hampton to the late Carl and Bertha Mae (Wilson) Rhoden and was a lifelong area resident. Linda was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and her greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Ranee Gatlin, siblings: Marilyn Parrish, Barbara Rowe, Henry Rhoden, Carl Rhoden, Walter Rhoden, and William Rhoden. Survivors are: her husband of 42 years Marion Gatlin, Sr. of Hampton, daughters: Michelle (Shelton) Gunter andJenette (Mikel) Gatlin all of Starke, Sons:Marion Gatlin, Jr. and David Gatlin both of Starke. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Hope Cemetery.
