Mrs. Linda Ann Russell age 66 of Melrose passed away suddenly Monday, April 28, 2025, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. She was born June 8, 1958, in Roxbury, Maryland to the late James and Harriet Dickney. Before retiring, Linda was employed as a custodial worker for many years with Dollar General Distribution Center. Linda loved taking walks and spending time at the beach as well as shopping at secondhand stores. She was also known for baking snacks and sweets for all to enjoy. Linda is survived by her sister Diane Tabler of Hawthorne, two nephews, Kevin and J.D. Tabler along with her significant- other of 27 years Roger McKenzie of Melrose. A memorial service for Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Paran Baptist Church with Pastor David Price officiating. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
