Ms. Lisa Rae McPherson age 66 of Melrose passed away at her home Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was born June 25, 1958, in Starke to William Wayman and Mary (Bates) McPherson. Lisa was a homemaker and had attended Eliam Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games, reading, flowers, and watching children playing and having fun. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother Bart McPherson, half-sister Dolores Piscitelli, and half-brothers Bruce McPherson and Bill McPherson and former husband Scott "Skye" Converse Ranney. Lisas survivors are her children Kyle Taylor (Kerry), Rebecca Wallace (Justin), Max Hillhouse, and Emmett Griggs along with a sister Avis Goode and brother Charles Jeffery McPherson, and half-sisters Alma Lauzarique, and Carol Lenhart (Dennis). Also left behind are her grandchildren Ashley, Nicholas, Makayla, Karli, Joseph, Dalton, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Eliam Baptist Church. Arrangements are by JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
