Lloyd Louis Macy

Mr. Lloyd Louis Macy age 90, of Kingsley Lake passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Macy was born on January 1, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas where he grew up and attended school. Following high school he joined the Navy and toured the world on an aircraft carrier. After he was discharged in Green Cove Springs, he remained in Florida working at Stricklands Landing doing building maintenance. He later worked for DuPont and joined the Florida National Guard where he worked until retirement. Lloyd was a lifetime member of Kingsley Lake Baptist Church and was well known for his carpentry skills. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lloyd W. and Luella Elizabeth (Comstock) Macy, son, Mike Macy, siblings, Lois Johnson, Barbara Bohn, and Don Macy. Survivors are, his wife of 39 years, Ann (Carter) Dinkins Macy of Kingsley Lake, children: Pam Lindsey (Jeff) of Kingsley Lake, Suzan Ricks (Benny) of St. Augustine, Karen Ledford (Tim) of Burnsville, NC, Stepson, David Dinkins (Tamara) of Lawtey, daughter-in-law, Maggie Macy of Green Cove Springs, sister, Joan Bohn (Garland) of Columbus, Kansas. Also left are eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Special arrangements have been made due to current social restrictions. Please join the family for a unique visitation to be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kingsley Lake Baptist Church. Guests will remain in their vehicles and drive by the family, which will be gathered outside the church. This will give all the opportunity to show support and express sympathy to the family. Graveside services will be held at Kingsley Lake Cemetery with Pastor Jonathan Rodriguez officiating.
