BOOZE: Funeral services for Lois Booze, 95, who passed away on January 14, 2021, will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM from the graveside in New Berlin Cemetery with Bro. Nathan King officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mrs. Booze was born in Sparta, Tennessee and was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 1960. She was the caretaker of New Berlin Cemetery for many years and was a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses. Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, Lawrence E. Booze; 2 sons, Lawrence Scott Booze (Deborah), and Randy Clay Booze (Teresa); 1 brother, Dowdy Joe Simmons; 5 grandchildren, Sabrina Price (Rob), Eddie Booze, Andy Booze (Jacie), Matthew Booze (Laura), Jennifer King (Nathan); 9 great-grandchildren..VisitationGeorge H.
