Lois Serene Nichols Lois Serene Nichols, 82, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2013 in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., with Dr. M. Keith Foskey officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday May 14, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Lois was born in Spring Hill, Alabama on July 12, 1930 to Thomas Emory Burrows & Edna N. Hunter Burrows. She was a loving wife & mother who cherished her family and will be remembered dearly by those she left behind. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Howard R. Nichols; her children Bobby Anderson (Barbara), Sharon Baker & Marsha Pullen (Hank); grandchildren Jeffrey Baker, Clint Pullen (Erin), Jonathan Anderson (Heather), Kayla Pullen, Jennifer Anderson, David Anderson & Kevin Anderson; brothers David C.
