Lola Helen Gregory Martin Age 84 Of Sarke

Lola Helen Gregory Martin, age 84 of Starke, passed away at Windsor Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. She was born on March 29, 1942, in Paris, Tennessee to Charles and Mary "Ethel" (Pruitt) Gregory.

A devoted homemaker, she found joy in gardening, crafting, and sewing, often designing beautiful outfits for her family. She also taught herself to knit, adding a special, personal touch to the lives of those she cherished. Lola spent her life in the warmth of a home she created through love and care.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where her spirit and kindness touched many.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband Billy Sheldon Martin, and her daughter Lisa Diane Evans. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children John Doward and Camilla Evans III, Robert Allen and Julie Martin, Ronda Karen Martin, and Randall Sheldon and Kim Martin. Also left behind are her beloved grandchildren, Cayden Martin, Kaleb Martin, Stephanie Gallimore, and Ashley Awbrey, along with great-grandchildren Anthony Gallimore, Nicholas Gallimore, and Annaleigh Gallimore, and great-great grandchild Taylyn Morrow.

A private burial will take place at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
