Lonnie Samuel Peek Funeral services for Lonnie Samuel Peek, 68, who passed away December 9, 2012, will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate # 2) with Rev. Edward Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mr. Peek was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He had retired from the City of Jacksonville after 32 years of service and was currently employed by Dick Gores RV World. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending quality time with his family. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by his sister, Lois Miller and brother, Charles A.
