Mrs. Loretta Yvonne Forsyth, age 94 of Starke passed away at her home on April 26, 2026. She was born on May 4, 1931, in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Oliva R. and Antilla (Roy) Charron.

Mrs. Forsyth was of the Baptist Faith and dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a Cottage Parent in a residence for individuals with mental handicaps. Her compassion and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many during her years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed arts and crafts especially sewing and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Otis Forsyth, twin sister Lauretta McDaniel, and brother Adalard Charron.

Her survivors are her devoted children, Anita Crosby (Ronald), Curtis Forsyth (Marilyn), Yvonne Newell (Lynn), and Claude Stodgell. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Pat Charron, as well as numerous friends and extended family who will cherish her memory.

Mrs. Forsyth was lovingly called "Grandma" by numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

The family will be having a private graveside service at the Keystone Heights Cemetery with Brother Jimmy Scott officiating.
