Lorraine Mae Cole Wyss, 87, passed away on May 4, 2015. Lorraine was born on May 22, 1927 in Jacksonville. She was one of five daughters of Fannie Lou and Robert Cole. Lorraine was a loving and devoted wife to Albert Wyss Sr. for 54 years. Albert died in 1998. They had three children, Geraldine Wyss DeVille (Tom), Albert G. Wyss Jr. (Johnny Sue) and Robert Wyss (Jenny). She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Husband Al, Sisters, Patrice Lyons, Hattie (Godwin) Murphy, Elizabeth Beazley, Barbara Hall; Brother, Robert Lee Cole. She was of the Baptist faith. She had 4 grandchildren, Wayne DeVille (Kim), Amy Wyss, Jacob Wyss (Stacy), and Rachel Lowe (Gary); 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves many nieces and nephews in Florida and Georgia, and a host of friends. Mrs. Wyss enjoyed gardening both vegetables and flowers. She was a caring person that maintained flowers at the cemetery every six weeks for eight relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday May 8, 2015 at 1:30 PM with a visitation 30 minutes prior to service at George H.
