ObituaryMr. Louie PrevattBy Jones-Gallagher Funeral HomeMr. Louie Prevatt age 74 of Keystone Heights died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Shands at Starke. Mr. Prevatt was born on May 7, 1934 to Willie L. and Maye Youngblood Prevatt, and moved to Keystone Heights 12 years ago from Oklawaha. He retired from the State of Florida as a Wildlife Officer. He was a Baptist, a member of the NRA, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melinda Lou. Survivors are: his wife of 9 years Hazel Darus Prevatt of Keystone Heights; sons: David Prevatt; Jeff Prevatt; Marty Prevatt all of Leesburg; Reggie Prevatt of Jacksonville; Earl Dink Helms of Milton; extended family: Robert Hicks of Columbia, SC; Sharon Hunter of Brooker; David Hicks of Jacksonville; sisters: Dorine Fulmer of Hillard; Shevie Dugger of Starke; Cindy Starling of Lake Butler; brother: George B. Prevatt of De Leon Springs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Prevatt will be on Monday, December 8, 2008 in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ken Herring officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
