Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Louis "Ray" Maloy Jr., who departed this life on September 20, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on November 21, 1973, in Jacksonville, Florida, Louis was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, who will be remembered for his gentle spirit and unyielding dedication to his work and family.

A proud graduate of Bradford High School in 1992, he was a mason by trade, he spent many years contributing to the construction industry as a valued member of Tenant Contractors Inc. Louis found pride in his craft, building not just structures but enduring memories shared among family and friends.

Ray as he liked to be called is survived by his devoted brother, Steven Maloy; his caring aunt, Bonnie and Uncle Lou DeRoia; also his loving cousins Christina Kayser (Drew), Brandon, Christopher, Evan, and Liam Kayser, and Rachel Maloy. His family will forever carry the warmth of his smile and the strength of his character and his shyness in their hearts. His parents, Marilyn and Ray Maloy and grandparents, Norma and Fred Shore have already gone to be with The Lord.

The family invites all who knew and loved Ray  to join them in celebrating his life and legacy, sharing stories and reflections that capture the essence of the man who touched many lives.
