Louise E. Butler Hill, 88, surrounded by the love of her children, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 7, 2024. Louise was born on November 9, 1935 in Sparta, Indiana, to the late Earl and Edna Butler. Louise moved to Gainesville, FL and began nursing school in 1968. Ms. Hill, retired LPN, gave over 30 years of service to the Veterans Administration Hospital.She is survived by her daughter Troxie Schoenborn (Mark), of Ocala, daughter Mauriessa Hill, her devoted caregiver of many years, Gainesville, son John A. Hill (Julie), Gainesville and daughter Robin DiFranco, Huntsville, AL; Eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. Her caring nature continues to radiate to those around her. A deep lover of ice cream, basketball and family, her life continues on in those that knew her. Services will be Monday, March 11, 2024.
