Lowell Richard Miller

Mr. Lowell Richard Miller age 70, of Hampton passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Miller was born on June 21, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Robert Lowell and Mary Frances (Spalding) Miller and moved to Hampton 18 months ago from Norfolk. Prior to retirement he worked as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with the Civil Service working for the Norfolk Naval Service. He served in the United States Army and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Lowell was a member of Sons of The Confederacy and loved participating in Civil War reenactments. He also enjoyed researching genealogy and NASCAR. Survivors are, his brother: Phillip Miller (Marcia) of Hampton, niece: Starr Lewis of Jacksonville, nephew: Brandon Miller of Middleburg, and uncle: Bernard Spalding of Norfolk, VA. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 441 N. Temple in Starke. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery with Military Honors.
