Lowell Phillips Pete Lowell Phillips 77, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday February 7, 2013. He was born in Jacksonville on May 15, 1935 and was a lifelong resident. Pete was predeceased by his wife Susan , parents Alvern and Flora Phillips, brothers Carlton and Willard Phillips. Pete retired from St. Regis/Seminole Kraft Paper Company after devoting 45 years of dedicated service. He will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, generosity , and sense of humor. He is survived by his children Carlton Phillips (Carol), and Lisa Reynolds, 4 grandchildren Marissa Cox (Ryan), Tess Phillips, Dustin Reynolds, and Lindy Phillips, 1 great granddaughter Jillian Cox. Other survivors include 6 nieces and dear friends Chris and Joy Kemp. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St. Jacksonville, FL 32206.
