Lucian "Petie" Preville Bradley

Mr. Lucian "Petie" Preville Bradley, Jr 64, of Starke passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville following a brief illness. He was born in Starke on September 15, 1956, to Lucian P. and Vivian (Williamson) Bradley, Sr. Lucian owned and operated Lucians Heating and Air for many years. He was a follower of The Way and enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was also known as a man that only knew unconditional love for everyone and one who loved to work and help others. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Michael Bradley and a brother Morgan Bradley. Lucian leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 42 years Katherine (Hunt) Bradley of Starke along with five children Julie Buck of Oregon, Lucian P. Bradley III and Joshua Bradley both of Hampton along with Andrea Bradley and Joseph Eugene Birt both of Starke. Also left behind are four siblings Tammy Starling and Tracy Bradley both of Starke, Dale Bradley of Keystone Heights, and Tommy Bradley of Hampton along with his beloved pup Squirrely B. He was lovingly called "Papa" by twelve grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. A private burial will be at Santa Fe Cemetery with A Celebration of Life being held at a later date.
