Mrs. Lucile Wahl Henman age 92 of Starke, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Henman was born on July 8, 1918 in Travers City Michigan to the late Harry and Nettie Mohler Wahl, and was a Christian. She was a retired manufacturing assembly worker, and also worked as a nurses aide in a nursing home. Survivors are: her daughter Catherine Schoening of Starke; son: LeRoy Short (Carol) of Huntington Beach, CA; grandchildren: Catherine Tune (David) of Tallahassee; Herman Schoening, Jr. (Debra) of Starke; Dawn Hunter (James) of High Springs; Jimmy Schoening of Starke; Jennifer Short; Luke Short; Austin Short all of California; sixteen great grandchildren nine great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 3-5 PM. Funeral services for Mrs. Henman will be on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke with Reverend Roman Alvarez officiating. Interment will follow in Crosby Lake Cemetery.
