Mrs. Lucille Mosley age 92, of Lawtey passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at MacClenny Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Mosley was born on June 1, 1921 in Bradford County to the late Ernie and Mary (McCormick) Johns and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church, was a homemaker, and loved to sew including quilting and making clothing for dolls and children. Lucille also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning and going fishing. Preceding her in death was her husband Earl Crawford Mosley. Survivors are: daughter, Carol Jean Mosley Harris and her husband George Wayne Harris of Raiford; son, Earl "Ed" Mosley and his wife Barbara of Lake Butler; brother, Warren G. Johns of Jacksonville, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL of Jones-Gallagher funeral home on SUNDAY afternoon, May 4, 2014 from 3 oclock to 5 oclock. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 6, 2014 at 10:30 am in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel with Reverend Ron Kimbrell and Brother Emory Eunice officiating. Interment will follow in Kingsley Lake Baptist Church Cemetery.
