Lucille L. Drury Parker Lucille L. Drury Parker, 102, a long time resident of Jacksonville, passed away July 28, 2012. She was born September 20, 1909 in Waynesville, Ga. She was a home maker and a member of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Parker had been a long time resident of St. Catherine Laboure Manor, where she enjoyed the last few years of her life. Her family wishes to extend their thanks to all the staff there for all their kindness and love shown to her. Mrs. Parker was predeceased by her husband, Arthur E. Parker Sr. 5 sons, and a grandson: Perry Parker. She is survived by 2 daughters: Kay Towns (Leonard), Linda Shuman (George), 2 sons: Gene M. Parker (Freda), Lee M. Parker (Dale), 2 sisters: Louise Jones, Christine Brazening, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday (TODAY) at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main St. Jacksonville 32206. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday in Edgewood Cemetery, 4519 Edgewood Ave. with Rev.
