Mrs. Lucille Crosby SpryMrs. Lucille Crosby Spry age 87 of Starke passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Mrs. Spry was born on September 27, 1925 to the late Ruby and Effie (Edmondson) Crosby. She was a lifelong resident of Bradford County and was a retired Real Estate Broker/Sales Person and a Sales Agent for May Kay Cosmetics. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Starke for many years. Mrs. Spry is survived by her son Doug Conner of Starke; three sisters, Frances Callahan of West Palm Beach, Glenda Shanley of Starke, Elaine Frierson of Tallahassee; one brother, Ronald Crosby of Starke, several nephews and nieces. Funeral services for Mrs. Spry will be held on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Bryant officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services beginning. The burial will follow at Crosby Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family had requested contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association 2727 NW43rd Street, Suite 5-B, Gainesville, FL 32606.
