Mrs. Lucille White age 87 of Keystone Heights passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka. She was born February 3, 1936, in Jacksonville to Rafe and Eva (Norman) Manning. Mrs. White was a retired nurses assistant and business owner. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed looking out her window at the birds, and working in her garden, cooking, and she loved being a mom and grandma. Mrs. White was known as "Sunny" by many children because she was always laughing and smiling. Her family and friends would say that she was an exemplary example of a Christian mother. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two husbands Roy D. Powers and Francis Raymond White, Sr.; two sons Terry Paul Powers and Robert Kenneth Powers and her nine siblings Henry, J.W., Froe, Marvin, Kenny, Effie, Daisy, Marie, and Frances. Mrs. White does leave behind her daughter Angela White of Keystone Heights. She was lovingly called "Mimi", Nannie", or "Grandma" by Rodney, Lisa, Monica, Amy, Nick, and Paul in addition to numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also left behind are nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and additional family members and friends that will miss her dearly. Funeral services for Mrs. White will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Middleburg Church of God with Pastor Jamie Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m... Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts can be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
